Still nothing from Lenovo. I've given up waiting for the computer to be repaired. I've bought a new one and moved on to my actual destination, Eirunepé, four hours by plane from Manaus. I left the ThinkPad in Manaus, hoping for it to be repaired some day. I've made private arrangements for it to be sent to me if this should ever happen.
